We just got back from the High Point Furniture Market where we get to see the newest, latest and greatest in our industry. There is over 10 Million square feet of Show space in the small town of High Point, North Carolina to wander through. Why High Point you might ask? It was the center for furniture and textile manufacturing in the US starting in the 17th century! Factories of supporting industries began popping up and by the turn of the 19th century it was a furniture epicenter. Let’s get on with the show of my FAVORITE things…..
Barn doors are still going strong but I found a gorgeous white entertainment unit! Hide your TV in style and when opened....beautiful!
Sticking to the white trend....check out this functional and fun piece!
I love this desk with the scrolled and metal base! Would look great floating in an office!
We saw tones of lilac! It was so pretty and calming I just wanted to curl up with a book!
La-z-boy's show room is always done up so well it's inspiring....
I also love the retro modern look that was everywhere!
White in dinning is making a come back and here paired with washed grey is stunning!!
This is just a taste of what we saw! Most manufactures were not afraid of color and you shouldn't be either and when paired with white...stunning! White was everywhere...living room, dinning rooms and bedrooms! Especially loving it with the grey tones or natural fabrics. In just three short months we are off to the Las Vegas Furniture Market where we get to do it all over again....
